So I got to work a little early today and decided to stop by Sephora… which lead to a few purchases. I don’t know if it was because I wanted an actual eyebrow kit or because I wanted to rack up some points on my new beauty account (I lost the old one 😦 ), but I picked up two things. They threw in a sample so that’ll be fun to review later! When I finished in Sephora, I got a few things at work before my shift. I thought I was done for the day, then my mom asked me to pick something up at Walgreens, so I grabbed a few things there as well!
Have some pictures and stick around for a mini product review!

I just love how cute the packaging is. Sassy Mr. Bunny is not having it. It also smells like Cherry chap-stick. I swatched it as I haven’t worn it on my lips yet and it’s very shear, but seems build-able. Photos of the swatch later in the post~
These brushes!! Three brushes for ten bucks… I love them. They’re extremely soft, and perfect for the perfect smokey eye! Not to mention the eyeliner brush is perfect for doing my brows. I can finally replace the busted double eye brush I got from Sephora forever ago. It was on sale and I soon found out why when the ends fell off. Plus, I never wanted to use one end because it always ended up down in my brush cup. I can’t wait to use my new LonSohoNewYork brushes and I think I might buy more.
These eyeliners. Where do I even begin? I desperately need to replace my current liquid liner. The top is broken, the product is almost all dried out, and the label is gone, but I didn’t want to pay eight bucks for a new one… so I found these. Two of them for the price of one of my old liners? Why not! Well, I’ll tell you why not. The felt tip on these is like a piece of plastic. It has no give and makes it hard to control the liner. The formula seems fine enough, but man, when these dry they become impossible to to get off. I know that they’re waterproof, but even with the remover wipes, it took a good deal of scrubbing to get the liner off. I was afraid to try them out on my eyes because I didn’t want to be rubbing them so harshly. These are going back first thing tomorrow after class. I’m sad, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Here are the swatches. The top swatch is the Bunny gloss. It’s hard to see, but it’s a nice shear pink. I think it will look nice for an on the go pop of color. The second swatch is the Ultra black liner and the bottom is the black brown. I tried to do the pretty swoosh, cat eye thing at the end, but the felt brush wouldn’t bend and well, that’s the result. I do not recommend.
Well, that’s all for tonight. Two posts in two days! I like this. Hopefully I can keep it up. Anyhow, stay beautiful!
